The ims Server is the central unit of the Imagic ims system and controls all processes related to the management of connections, data, users and tasks. The ims Server is designed as a scalable system and allows for connecting to optional modules.
Multi-Server Operation
On a single application server multiple ims Servers can be operated as services. This feature can be of importance in complex environments operating multiple license pools and access right groups. Another important application area is the parallel operation of test, consolidation and productive systems.
