REPRODUCIBLE MICROSCOPY ON A KEYSTROKE

In microscopy, a large number of technical device parameters determines the quality of an acquired image. An optimal configuration of the microscope settings, which serves as an objective evaluation basis for a sample, is often time-consuming and difficult to implement especially for inexperienced users.

Imagic IMS offers the convenient possibility to reproduce the device parameters at any time at the push of a button.

Evaluated by the optimal image

When all camera, microscope and illumination settings optimally match for a sample acquisition, these parameters are also stored in the IMS image database with the acquired image. The settings can thus be applied to the motorized hardware at any time by just loading the image again - with the push of a button.

Based on these reference settings, it is ensured that identical or similar samples are recorded and subsequently evaluated under the same conditions - at any time.

ADVANTAGES OF GALLERIES WITH REFERENCE IMAGES

Depending on the type of grinding and preparation, the entire process is time-critical and imaging must be done quickly. In Imagic IMS, entire galleries can be created with reference images sorted by topic. In this way, the entire acquisition profile is stored for various employees or the respective material and can be loaded on a keystroke.

Apart from saving time, these galleries also offer an ideal tool to facilitate the know-how transfer from experienced microscope specialists to less experienced employees.

IMAGIC IMS BENEFITS

  • Evaluation objectivity through standardized acquisition settings
  • Time saving for setting up optimal acquisition configuration
  • Possibility for less experienced microscopists to create good images of difficult samples using reference images
  • Prevention of setting errors and maintaining compliance with defined processes (keyword: ISO certification)
